Erté is perhaps most famous for his elegant fashion designs which capture the art deco period in which he worked. ... Itzchak Tarkay (1935 - June 3, 2012 ) is an Austrian-born Israeli painter and watercolourist.
Tarkay has achieved recognition as a leading representative of a new generation of figurative artists. The inspiration for his work clearly lies with French Impressionism, and Post-Impressionism.
As well as being a painter and watercolorist, Tarkay is a master graphic artist and his rich tapestry of form and color is achieved primarily through the use of the serigraph. In his serigraphs, many colors are laid over one another and used to create texture and transparency.
The works of famous artist Itzchak Tarkay continue to climb in value from year to year. The value of his artworks now since his untimely death will certainly be much higher.

Jiang was born in 1938 in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province in China. In 1964, he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the prestigious Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing. From 1966 to 1973, the Chinese Government assigned him to produce "Socialist Realism" propaganda posters and sculptures.  Stifled by this sterile exercise, Jiang worked at night on his bed in a small room to create his own style.  Along with two other artists, he secretly found what is now known as the "Yunnan School."  In 1982, a National Geographic reporter covering life in China, saw Jiang's paintings and brought some back to the United States. Jiang's work was met with great success.  In 1983, Jiang came to the United States as part of a cultural exchange program with the University of Southern California.  His rich, strong color and exotic but intimate imagery struck an immediate response with the American public.
The colors in Jiang's serigraphs and paintings are of unsurpassed richness. A colorist, Jiang's intention was to reverse the trend of the stale Chinese tradition of painting in gray, black, and white. Jiang says: "Chinese art had reached a sick level due to its lack of color."
Jiang is a storyteller. Each figure has a symbolic meaning. Jiang says "For every picture there is a story, and for every story there is a picture."
Jiang's vision has continued to grow and expand. Probably because of his personal experience in two cultures he has increasingly seen the world as a single system, as a meeting place of diverse forces. This is reflected in the number of environmental and ecologic themes which have recently begun appearing in his work, notably in such pieces as "Nature Suite," "Genesis," "Lovers Trees," and "My World."

Guillaume Azoulay was born in Casablanca, Morocco in 1949. Today he has achieved international recognition as a successful and gifted artist. His unique self-taught style conveys movement, strength, and grace.
Since age thirteen, Azoulay's thirst for adventure has taken him to many parts of the world, earning his way by painting and performing as an actor. Azoulay met his wife Charmaine Seal, noted Welsh ballerina, in Israel, and in 1976 they arrived in the United States. In this short time span, Azoulay has succeeded in becoming one of the best-known and most popular American etchers. In 1983, Azoulay was chosen to create the official Kentucky Derby Festival Poster. He was challenged by the thought of creating image that combined his love of horses with the excitement of the world's greatest horse races. His latest series of etchings capture the spirit and vitality of racing's most important competitions: Kentucky Derby, Preakness, and the Belmont. Included in the artist's numerous achievements are the acceptance of seven of his works in the permanent collection of the Musee Du Louvre (Cabinet Des Dessins). His work is in the private collections of President Ronald Reagan, His Majesty King Hassan II of Morocco, President Fracois Mitterand of France.. Severall works by Azoulay are in the prestigious Nelson Rockefeller Collection.

Frederick Elliott Hart (June 7, 1943 in Atlanta, Georgia - August 13, 1999 in Baltimore, Maryland) was an American sculptor, best known for his public monuments and works of art in bronze, marble, and clear acrylic (a technique he coined as "sculpting with light").
American sculptor Frederick Hart is recognized for creating work that is at once traditional in its adherence to the human figure, radical in its sensuality, and innovative in its materials.
He followed the medieval tradition of apprenticing to a master stone carver and invented and patented an acrylic method of sculpture, which he described as sculpting with light.
Michael Novak, author of Frederick Hart: Changing Tides, wrote in 2004, “The work of Frederick Hart is changing the world of art, vindicating the artist’s strong belief that with the new century would come changing tides in the style, form, and direction of the arts.
Frederick died in 1999, two days after doctors diagnosed him with lung cancer.

LeRoy Neiman (June 8, 1921 – June 20, 2012) was an American Artist known for his brilliantly colored, expressionist paintings and screen prints of athletes, musicians, and sporting events.
He received five honorary doctorates and numerous awards, a recent Lifetime achievement award from the University of Southern California, an induction into the International Boxing Hall of Fame and proclamations and citations. Most recently he has received The Order of Lincoln on the 200th birthday celebration of Abraham Lincoln given by The Lincoln Academy of Illinois. He has authored twelve books of his art.Neiman produced about six different serigraph subjects a year, generally priced from $3,000 to $6,000 each. Gross annual sales of new serigraphs alone top $10 million. Originals can sell for up to $500,000 for works such as "Stretch Stampede," a mammoth 1975 oil painting of the Kentucky Derby.Neiman worked in oil, enamel, watercolor, pencil drawings, pastels, serigraphy and some lithographs and etching. Neiman is listed in Who's Who in the East, Who's Who in American Art, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the World. His works have been displayed in museums, sold at auctions, and displayed in galleries and online distributors. He is considered by to be the first major sports artist in the world. His work is in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian, the Whitney Museum, the Brooklyn Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, the State Hermitage Museum in Russia, Wadham College at Oxford and in museums and galleries the world over, as well as in private and corporate collections.

Hessam Abrishami was born in Shiraz, Iran in 1951. He has been greatly influenced by the ancient history that surrounded him as a child. Seeking a society free from the limitations of modern day Iran, Hessam left his home country to expand his knowledge and awareness of the outside, changing world. His quest to excel as an artist took him to Italy, one of the historically great epicenters of the art world. He began his higher education in Pietro Vanucci, at the Accademia di Belle Arti.
Hessam’s art has become much more than a grand collection of paintings, drawings and sculptures. It has become a legacy. The inspiration, passion and beauty of his art are just a few reasons why his work is so widely collected.
